Since 1966, Nova Electric has been America’s premier manufacturer of True Online Rugged UPS Systems to suit any commercial, industrial, or military application, including those that require compliance to military environmental and electrical standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-167, MIL-STD-1399, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-740, RTCA/DO-160, and more. Units are available in rack mount, bulkhead mount, freestanding, and custom mount configurations from 500 watt – 900+ KW power levels. Any standard voltage (single or three-phase) can be accommodated, in 50, 60, or 400 Hz frequencies.
Custom frequencies such as 25, 91.667, 100, 200, 209, and 250 Hz as normally required for rail applications are available upon request. Most models can also act as frequency converters, changing a given input voltage and frequency to a different pure sinewave output voltage and frequency, in conjunction with the primary battery back-up capabilities. All Nova Electric UPS Systems feature our modular design and robust construction, for many years of reliable performance, as well as low MTTR and Cost-To-Own figures.

Rugged Rack Mount UPS Systems
Nova’s Rugged Rack Mount True Online UPS Systems are suitable for any commercial, industrial, or military application. Units have been formally qualified to a host of military standards, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-167, MIL-STD-1399, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-740, RTCA/DO-160, and more. Units are available in 500 watt – 200 KW power levels, with chassis slides and shock block / bull pin configurations for high shock applications. Any standard voltage (single or three-phase) can be accommodated, in 50, 60, or 400 Hz frequencies. Custom frequencies are available upon request. Most models can also act as frequency converters, changing a given input voltage and frequency to a different pure sinewave output voltage and frequency, in conjunction with the usual battery back-up capabilities. Nova’s Rugged Cabinet / Bulkhead Mount True Online UPS Systems are built to satisfy any commercial, industrial, or military application, including those that require compliance to military environmental and electrical standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-167, MIL-STD-1399, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-740, RTCA/DO-160, and more. Units are available in 500 watt – 900 KW power levels, with specialty shock mounts available for high shock Naval applications such as MIL-S-901. Any standard voltage (single or three-phase) can be accommodated, in 50, 60, or 400 Hz frequencies. Custom frequencies are available upon request. Units are available in 20 – 900 KW power levels. Any standard voltage (single or three-phase) can be accommodated, in 50, 60, or 400 Hz frequencies. Custom frequencies are available upon request. Certain models offer a hot swap design for easy power expansion and maintenance. Most models can also act as frequency converters, changing a given input voltage and frequency to a different pure sinewave output voltage and frequency, in conjunction with the usual battery back-up capabilities.
